Guidelines for post-mastectomy radiation often go unfollowed

Many breast cancer patients don't get post-mastectomy radiation.

Researchers reported in the journal Cancer that 45.2% of women age 65 and older with high-risk breast cancer did not undergo the recommended radiation treatment after having a mastectomy.
